well i disagree with the idea of our government going into debt to bailout privately owned companies, its not capatalism, and any time the Gov gets envolved money is lost, wasted and misused.

This stimulus package is a complete joke. Though we are in a time when it is imperative that the government does what it was designed to do, be “for the people” it is instead doing the opposite. The people are losing jobs, houses, and HOPE, the very thing Obama ran on, while the democrats pack this “stimulus” bill with socialist agendas and seemingly everything except what stimulates the economy. Once again I can see it is not the people liberals care about, because this bill is not “for the people” rather it’s for themselves. I have gotten in arguments with liberals and environmentalists, and they’re always saying “we care about people, by caring about the environment” or something else that is supposed to convince me of their compassion. Have you seen what they are planning on implementing in healthcare with this bill? because in what kind of round about way does refusing healthcare to the elderly until it’s too late to do any good, help people? I don’t know, but with this and the liberal abortion laws, it’s starting to look we are just going to get rid of the helpless. I think in the 40’s we fought a war that had something to do with that, didnt we?

We shouldn’t be handing out money, we should be handing out jobs. Make companies bring back production to the States. Free money doesn’t last but earned money has value.

The Democrats knock the Republicans over their spending during the Bush administration. So, how are they going to do it better? They are going to out spend the previous admin. - That will show them. Zzzzzzz. “Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.”
