Climate gate video

Posted on 06 January 2010 by Josh Cordell

A friend of mine from Red Ice Creations made this video @ the Un Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen some interesting footage of the protesting that went on. Apparently not everyone believes that “man made global warming” is a proven fact! :-)

Where is the Global Warming Dividend?

Posted on 02 January 2010 by Mike Shaw

Happy Snowman!

Happy Snowman!

In 2000, noted climate scientist Dr. David Viner predicted that “within a few years, winter snowfall will become “a very rare and exciting event”.”

hmmm. Then why are cities and states running out of money for snow removal and we are barely into January?  From the Wall Street Journal:

Maryland’s State Highway Administration has spent more than $27 million this year on snow removal, the bulk of that clearing away a massive pre-Christmas storm. But the agency’s annual snow-removal budget is just $26 million.

Shouldn’t we be enjoying a “Global Warming Dividend?” Sort of like the peace dividend that President Clinton cashed in on in the 1990’s.  If global warming is really happening then it should be, I don’t know, warmer?!

If you are in the south or mid-Atlantic states, enjoy the snow.  More is on the way if the AccuWeather Winter forecast continues on track.  That’s bad news for cities and states that are already out of cash to remove all that frozen stuff.

Good thing the Senate has all but given up on trying to pass Cap & Trade.

10 predictions for 2010

Posted on 02 January 2010 by Josh Cordell

2010
Some of these are no brainers, but here they are none the less:
1 Islam will call for the eradication of Israel.
2 The economy will get worse before it gets better.
3 Hot, cold or just right, it’ll be blamed on Global Warming.
4 Lots of people will do amazing things for others everyday, but the news will talk about something stupid that a celebrity did instead.
5 Technology will advance in a way where we say, “How did I live without this just last year.” Including a new term to go along with; google, blog, myspace, facebook and twitter (tweet).
6 President Obama will do no right in some eyes, no wrong in other eyes and make decisions that will shape this country for the rest of our lives.
7 3rd-party politics will make an even bigger push.
8 The government will spend money it doesn’t have… and both Democratic and Republican leaders will be to blame.
9 Jesus will still be the only means of salvation.
10 God will still have it all under control and we need not worry.

Be fruitful and multiply… not if you love this planet!

Posted on 05 August 2009 by Josh Cordell

kidsindoorwaycWell, I saw this one coming a longtime ago. So, ready for the big shock everyone, the best way to lower your carbon footprint isn’t to drive a hybrid, ride your bike, have a compost pile, have a solar panel and windmill on your property… the best way is to just not have kids. If we stopped having kids, that would solve all of our problems. Wait, we’d go extinct. OK, let’s just say everyone can have one kid, that way we don’t go extinct, but we show this planet the love and respect it deserves. After all, the last thing “Mother Earth” wants to deal with is kids!

This article talks about the findings from Oregon State University that show the best way to lower your carbon footprint, don’t add more little footprints.

The religion of environmentalism may eventually try to limit the number of kids that an American can have. That would be wrong and we need to be aware of the agenda behind those who hold to Global Warming with a religious faith.

I did a review of Demographic Winter recently and they talked about the big-time problems we’re going to face if we don’t start having more kids. Which is very much the opposite of what we are hearing from the global warming crowd.

Why do we talk about Global Warming?

Posted on 08 April 2009 by Josh Cordell

Josh Cordell

I won’t pretend to speak for all of the contributors to this site, but I’ve noticed a lot of people asking why we talk about global warming. Let me tell you why I occasionally write about it.

Firstly let me say that there is no more important truth than the truth of Jesus. That He is God, that he lived on earth, died for our sins and was raised again on the third day. That He sits on the right hand side of the Father and rules from Heaven. No truth is more important, vital or worth sharing as that truth!

We are told that a lot of things are truth, and these have become commonly accepted as truth. There are a few scientific “truths” out there that I don’t believe. I’m no scientist myself, but I’m still entitled to my opinion, especially when it is based on the Word of God and those whose science I trust. Here are a few that I don’t buy into - that an unborn baby isn’t a human, that the earth is billions of years old, that we were not created nor designed but happened by chance. I tell you these in hopes of pointing out that many, many Christians don’t agree with what is commonly accepted as truth on these matters.

So why do we talk about global warming? Because I don’t believe it is the truth. I believe that global warming is agenda driven. If Al Gore really believed in global warming and wasn’t just looking for how it can benefit him, don’t you think he’d be living a more green life? Political leaders who push for global warming restrictions on our lives are viewed as being “great humanitarians, who want what’s best for people.” Yet they are almost 100% pro-abortion!

I write about global warming because I believe that the data doesn’t prove it to the point of being labeled as truth, the way that America has labeled it. I also believe that global warming is being used as a tool by the government to over tax and take away rights. Being a Christian is about freedom. Jesus came to this earth to set the captives free. As a regenerated human, I am free from the bondage of sin by the work on the cross of Jesus. America’s greatness is based upon our freedom. Our freedom to live un-oppressed and to believe what we hold as truth, is a gift that I want to protect.

Again I quote Czech President Vaclav Klaus “As someone who lived under communism for most of my life I feel obliged to say that the biggest threat to freedom, democracy, the market economy and prosperity at the beginning of the 21st century is not communism or its various softer variants… Communism was replaced by the threat of ambitious environmentalism.”

I hope to accomplish a few different things with this website, point people towards the truth of Jesus, create discussion and debate on important topics, take a stand against abortion and stand up for truth.  Myself and Daniel (my brother) have been talking for a longtime about “what can we do to make a difference in regards to abortion?” So we’ve been addressing abortion from a few different angels. I’ve tried to look at how a global warming-shaped view of environmentalism could lead to more abortion… my response from Christians was not positive. Daniel wrote on how “pop culture” promotes abortion, he used “The Office” as an example and was basically labeled “An idiot” by many Christians. We’ll keep trying! We hope to make a difference.

As long as man-made global warming is taught as absolute truth and used to promote an agenda, I’ll continue to write about it.

Much Love, josh

Stop Global Cooling Now! dot com

I didn't act fast enough!

I didn't act fast enough!

Seriously.  This has been a brutal Winter in many parts of the country and the world.  It’s not over either.  It’s snowing today in the Midwest!

Rare snows also occurred this year in Madrid, Spain, Houston, TX, New Orleans and Florida to name a few.  There were record snows like the storms that dumped over a foot of snow in Portland, Oregon in December.  Last year, glaciers actually grew in Alaska and parts of Europe (funny, I didn’t hear about that on CBS, NBC or ABC news.  hmmm.)  There are even dire predictions of colder temperatures in the next few decades.  That’s where you come in.

Are you just gonna sit there and freeze?  Or are you going to ACT?!  There are some things that you can do, you know.  Buy an SUV.  Drive fast.  Emit more greenhouse gas!

Join us for fun and to share practical ideas that may just help www.StopGlobalWarmingNow.com  Who knows, it just might be your comment that saves the world from encroaching glaciation and extended cold and flu seasons :-)

Craziness Around the Globe…

Posted on 09 February 2009 by Mike Shaw

and in the Boston Globe. Seems that anxiety is on the rise as some in the worldwide media hype so called “Global Warming.”

Last year, an anxious, depressed 17-year-old boy was admitted to the psychiatric unit at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. He was refusing to drink water. Worried about drought related to climate change, the young man was convinced that if he drank, millions of people would die. The Australian doctors wrote the case up as the first known instance of “climate change delusion.”

Yes, this an extreme case, but the article goes on to say that nervousness over

“extreme weather events, such as droughts, floods, cyclones, and hurricanes, can lead to emotional distress”

is on the rise.

OK. I have documented again and again that “Global Warming” was really Solar Warming and now that the Sun is getting quieter, the Earth is now cooling. Still, the Boston Globe says,

“Climate change is expected to create about 200 million environmental refugees by 2050, according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the international body established within the United Nations to evaluate causes and consequences of global warming.”

Even if this were true (which it’s not!) Jesus said, DON’T WORRY!

Matthew 6:33-34
33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Does the Bible have anything to say about “Global Warming?” A couple of things. In Revelation it’s clear that it will heat up dramatically for a short time:

Revelation 16:8-9

8 The fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given to it to scorch men with fire.

9 Men were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory.

Look closely. Even when God will pour out His wrath on the planet, it will be solar warming! No mention of CO2 or methane gas here.

Still concerned about “Global Warming?” Consider what God says in Genesis 8:22:

22“While the earth remains,
Seedtime and harvest,
And cold and heat,
And summer and winter,
And day and night
Shall not cease.”

I guess Dick Cheney was right when he said he believed in global warming. It’s called Spring and Summer!

“Be fruitful and multiply”

Posted on 27 January 2009 by Josh Cordell

Josh Cordell

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi says birth control will help the economy. It seems like economies that grow are the best and you need people to grow… but she’s the expert, right?

You don’t have to read very far into your Bible before you get to this command “Be fruitful and multiply…” Genesis 1:28. It’s interesting how far we’ve strayed from that. Overpopulation is something that many Christians believe is a problem. Between abortion, genocide and population caps (based on fears of man-made global warming) we have completely abandoned that first command God gave mankind. But are we getting too big? Here’s a DVD that I haven’t seen yet, that states. “We are headed toward a demographic winter which threatens catastrophic consequences – both economic and social.” The premise is that we are not populating enough and the results could be nothing short of disaster.

A Convenient Deception

Posted on 15 January 2009 by Josh Cordell

Josh Cordell

After watching “An Inconvenient Truth” recently, I really feel that a documentary needs to be made to call Al Gore and the man-made global warming crowd to task. It could focus on three major claims by Mr. Gore:

• Man-made global warming is a scientifically proven fact.

• No reputable scientists disagree with the premise.

• Those that disagree with his position only do so because of politics.

This film could be a big hit based on its talk radio marketing alone. Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity ect. are debunking “MMGW” everyday on their shows. If they had a video to recommend to their listeners, no doubt they would!
